Bernardini continued his dominance in 2006 by winning the Jocky Club Gold Cup "under wraps." and defeating older horses for the first time. Eventhough Bernardini was beaten by Invasor in the Breeders Cup Classic he was awarded the Eclipse Award as the 3 year old for 2006.
Proud Spell was voted 3 year old filly of 2008 for her accomplishments in the track. Including her hard fought voctory in the prestigous Alabama Stakes at Saratoga Race Course.
