Gabbys Golden Girl trained by Bob Baffert (saddled by John Terranova II) and ridden by Javier Castellano the daughter of Medaglia D'Oro won the Acorn stakes on the undercard of Belmont Stakes day.

Medaglio d'Onore, Proud Jefe and Reynaldothewizard (#4) compete for third in the 2008 rendition of the Saratoga Special at Saratoga Race Course. Medaglio d'Onore is from the first crop of Medaglia d'Oro.

As the field passed by me during 94th running of the Remsen at Aqueduct I heard the jockeys shouting and looked up to see Alan Garcia on # 3 Big Truck betting squeezed from both sides as the #5 Trust N Dustan ridden by Cornelio Velasquez moved in on him while # 1 Court Vision and Eibar Coa the eventual winners came out into Big Truck to get around horses in front of him. Big Truck took the worst of it and lost ALL monmentum as the field straighened away down the strecth. Impressively Court Vision won the race by running down Atoned and just getting by him in the shadow of the wire. Big Truck ran very well to get third after being dead last with 3/16ths of a mile to run.

Fleet Indian (inside) would not let Balletto by enroute to hard fought victory in the 2006 Beldame Stakes at Belmont Park. This victory kept the New York Bred's perfect record in tact.

Bernardini continued his dominance in 2006 by winning the Jocky Club Gold Cup "under wraps." and defeating older horses for the first time. Eventhough Bernardini was beaten by Invasor in the Breeders Cup Classic he was awarded the Eclipse Award as the 3 year old for 2006.

Welcome to my Website.

As you can see by my galleries I am a fan of Thoroughbred Horse Racing. I live in western New Jersey and frequently go to the New York Racing Association race tracks, Aqueduct, Belmont and Saratoga. I think these tracks offer the BEST horse racing on a daily basis.

I primarily shoot slide film but also shoot digital as well. I simply enjoy shooting slide film and feel that medium captures more subtle details and colors than my digital camera is capable of capturing.

I primarily use Nikon equipment and have been doing so for nearly thirty years. The first "real" camera I owned was a Nikon EM. Over the years I have moved up to the Nikon F5 as well as the Nikon D100.

I hope you enjoy the photos in my galleries. I will continue to digitize some of my older images and add new ones as time permits.
